EYS Tea at Two Fundraiser Canceled for 2020

The Embrace Your Sisters (EYS) 14th Annual Tea at Two Fashion Show Fundraiser at Casa Larga Vineyards and Winery, previously scheduled on Sunday, May 3, 2020 has been canceled for this year.

Volunteer Board Member and Vice President Megan Freida stated, “We are truly overwhelmed by all the support from our event sponsors, donors and guests interested in our event. Our Fashion Show is the largest fundraising event we hold every year and it allows us to continue providing emergency financial support for people with breast cancer.”

In 2019, Embrace Yours Sisters distributed over $50,000 to 40 people undergoing breast cancer treatment. This year to date, 17 local residents within the counties have applied for financial assistance. Moving forward, EYS is still committed to providing emergency financial support for people with breast cancer in 13 counties: Allegany, Cayuga, Chemung, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Schuyler, Seneca, Steuben, Tioga, Tompkins, Wayne and Yates.

The COVID-19 pandemic is preventing the community from supporting EYS through fundraisers and other creative ways.
